Adult Individual Therapy Tailored to YOU

A dirt road runs between rows of vineyard grapevines on either side, with a sunset sky in the background.

Many people seek therapy to heal parts of themselves or aspects of their lives that feel out of alignment with how they want to feel. Individual therapy is often regarded as one of the most effective forms of treatment for mental, behavioral, and emotional challenges, and one of the strongest predictors of success is the therapeutic relationship between the client and provider. I deeply value this relationship and the trust it requires, and I will work alongside you as we explore the areas causing distress and create a path toward a life filled with connection and meaning.

During your first session, we will take time to build a strong therapeutic alliance and get to know each other. I will ask questions about your current and past symptoms, your life story, and your goals for therapy. You will also have the opportunity to ask me questions, helping to create a foundation of trust and safety as you begin to share your most vulnerable thoughts and experiences. After the initial session, appointments are typically 50 minutes long and may be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on your needs and goals.

While many people face similar challenges, each person’s experience is unique. The type of therapy you receive will depend on what you are going through and what you hope to work on. I am trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities and techniques to tailor treatment to your individual needs, though I often find Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR) to be especially effective for many clients. To learn more about IFS, please visit https://ifs-institute.com. To learn more about EMDR, please visit https://www.emdr.com/.

Remember, you deserve a safe, supportive space to focus on yourself and heal the parts of you that are causing distress. I am here to offer that space.

“Rather than particular techniques, the far greater predictors of positive outcomes are therapeutic relationships, or counselor qualities in therapeutic relationships that capitalize on clients’ internal strengths.”

Support Through Life’s Challenges

People come to ReWoven for many different reasons—sometimes it’s something specific, and other times it’s just a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right. Common reasons include:

  • Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or burned out

  • Anxiety, constant worry, or racing thoughts

  • Depression, low mood, or lack of motivation

  • Navigating life transitions (career changes, parenthood, moves, etc.)

  • Relationship challenges or communication difficulties

  • Healing from past experiences or trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Struggles with self-esteem or self-worth

  • Difficulty managing emotions or feeling easily triggered

  • Patterns that feel hard to break

  • Wanting to better understand yourself

You don’t need to have everything figured out—or be in crisis—to start therapy. Sometimes it simply begins with wanting things to feel a little different.
